LUCKY 6: DePere Scores Six Runs In Sixth For Title
 ESCANABA---DePere and Midland Berryhill hooked up in Sunday's championship game of the Gregg Johnson Memorial American Legion Baseball Tournament in Escanaba. DePere scored six runs in the sixth inning to break a 4-4 tie and take the trophy back to Wisconsin, 10-4. Bennett Olson went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and a two-run single. Matt Williams added two hits and two RBI and pitched four innings of relief for the win. Brandon Smith had a two-run homer, double, and single for Midland. |
