Jared Vuksan on the Recruiting Process
Vuksan says that he chose Northern because the school is close to home and has a good criminal justice program (click the audio link to listen to his comments). Sault Ste. Marie's Kyle Root also committed to Northern on Wednesday. CLICK HERE to see a list of Northern Michigan's football recruits. Meanwhile, Falish will be headed to Tech, where he will eventaully face Vuksan and his best friend Austin Young, who will be a sophomore at NMU next season. Falish was Escanaba's quarterback and defensive back in 2013, but Tech recruited him as a wide receiver due to his speed. The 5-11, 170-pound Falish is also valuable to MTU Coach Tom Kearly because of his impeccable Grade Point Average. Falish, a member of the National Honor Society, plans to major in Environmental Engineering at Tech. Falish was one of nine Upper Peninsula boys to commit to MTU on Wednesday.
