Eskymo Freshmen Hang On To Beat Westwood
 ESCANABA---The Escanaba High School freshman football team hung on to beat the Westwood Patriots, 29-28, Thursday night, on a cold evening in Escanaba. Logan Lamb scored two touchdowns (including one on a 77-yard run) and Dylan Gauthier had a 75-yard TD run to pace the Eskymos. Escanaba led, 21-14, at the half before giving up two touchdowns in the second half...but holding on both conversion attempts. That was the margin of victory. In junior varsity football in Dickinson County Thursday night, the Escanaba JV Eskymos beat the Iron Mountain JV Mountaineers, 13-6.
