Eskymo Girls Enjoy Their 'Wednesday Night Lights'
![]() ESCANABA---Homecoming Week continued Wednesday night at the Escanaba High School as the girls took to the Escanaba Athletic Field for the annual Powder Puff football game. But don't let the name fool you: this was not a bunch of timid girls running around and playing nice. In a fun, hard-hitting game, the Eskymo Seniors beat the Juniors, 20-6. Codi Jenshak threw two touchdown passes, both to Bri Belanger, for the seniors. And Holly Ettenhofer ran in a third score for the Class of 2012. The juniors' lone score came on a 90-yard run by Ashley Cook. The good news: no one got seriously injured! Click the thumbnails in the 'ARTICLE HIGHLIGHTS' box above to see photos from the game.
