Escanaba Girls Win; Gladstone Girls Lose In Rain
 GLADSTONE vs MARQUETTE The Gladstone Braves girls softball team was shut out at home on Tuesday, 8-0, by the Marquette Redettes. Chelsey Wiggins tossed another shutout for Marquette. The second game of the doubleheader was rained out. In the JV game, Gladstone won, 16-2. Lexi Winling was the winning pitcher, allowing five hits and striking out seven. Natalie Hansen had three hits and Taylor Trudeau added a single and triple. ESCANABA vs KINGSFORD The Escanaba High School girls sofball team scored five runs in the fourth inning to break a 4-4 tie and beat the Kingsford Flivvers, 9-4, on Tuesday. The second game of the doubleheader was rained out. Katie Ross earned the win in the circle, allowing three hits in five innings. At the plate, Ross and Callie Heller each had two base hits.
