Braves Win Marathon Doubleheader Over Flivvers
 GLADSTONE---The Gladstone High School girls softball team picked up a couple of dramatic victories on Thursday, beating the Kingsford Flivvers, 1-0 and 16-15, in a doubleheader at the Braves Field.  Kingsford jumped to an early 6-2 lead, but the Braves tied it with four runs in the third inning. The Flivvers responded to score nine runs to take a 15-6 lead, but Gladstone battled back to score ten runs over the final two innings to pull out the win. Morgan Kowalski's base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning won the game for the Braves. Gladstone hosts the Yooper Softball Tournament this Saturday, with six teams in the field: Escanaba, Gladstone, Marquette, Norway, Hancock, and Kingsford.
