High School Softball Tournament Held In Gladstone
 GLADSTONE---Six Upper Peninsula high school softball teams converged on the Gladstone High School for a tournament Saturday, with Escanaba walking away with the championship. But not before a little but of chaos along the way. The Marquette Redettes won two games in the morning, and then left, deciding to forfeit their spot in the championship game in order to attend their Prom back home. For a while, it looked like Norway would win the championship by default, but they decided to play the Escanaba Eskymos in a winner-take-trophy championship game. Katie Ross hit a two-run homer as the Eskymos won that contest, 6-0.
