Gladstone Vs Marquette Legion Game Washed Away
GLADSTONE---The Gladstone Indians and Marquette Blues managed to play only one-half of an inning Wednesday before the rains came and flooded the field. Gladstone pitcher Clay Cole retired Marquette 1-2-3 in the top of the first inning, and as the Indians prepared to bat in the bottom half, heavy rain fell and halted the contest. The boys did have a little fun getting wet, however, as you can see from the photos and videos in the ARTICLE HIGHLIGHTS box above. Both Marquette and Gladstone play in the Sault Ste. Marie tournament on Friday. |
