Broncos Drop DH; Hall Hits Program's First Homer
 ESCANABA---The Bark River-Harris Broncos baseball team lost two games on Saturday at the Escanaba Lions Club Invitational, under cold, windy, and sometimes snowy conditions at Al Ness Field. But one bright spot was the program's first-ever home run by Mike Hall. Hall's home run came with a man on as the Broncos played Sault Ste. Marie in the third place game of the tournament. The Broncos went the entire 2015 season without hitting a home run, and hadn't hit one so far in this 2016 campaign. Logan Heim had a pair of RBI doubles in the game, but BR-H lost to the Blue Devils, 17-11. The game was filled with errors as both teams ran out of pitchers at the end of a long week of baseball. Some Sault players also went home to take part in their high school prom. Earlier in the day, BR-H lost to Houghton, 6-0, as Cole Jepsen limited the Broncos to just one base hit.
