  • Bay College Women's Basketball Gets Recognized

    The Bay College women's basketball team got some post-season honors yesterday from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association. Gladstone's Alaina Trudeau made the North Conference All-Freshman team, and she was named to the conference Third Team, along with Gwinn's Tianna Taylor. Alyssa Cretton was an Honorable Mention selection.

  • Finlandia's Batrle Named To All-Region Team

    Finlandia University's Natalie Bartle of Negaunee added to her trophy case as she was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 9 second team. Bartle is the first basketball player, male or female, to earn D3hoops.com honors in school history  She is now on the All-American Ballot.

    Bartle has had an impressive first season for the Lions, averaging 21.41 points, 7.14 rebounds, 5.05 assists and 3.86 steals per game.

  • Bay College Baseball Wins Twice To Close Trip
    The Bay College Baseball team waited out a two hour rain delay late Friday night to win over Illinois Valley, 11-3. Menominee's Dante Sartorelli had three hits and drove in three runs. Xavier Whittle threw six innings of four hit ball,with five strikeouts and two walks. Josh Blake also had three hits and drove in two runs. On Thursday night, the Norse beat Westmoreland College 10-3. Iron Mountain's Blake Julian scattered six hits over five innings for his first collegiate pitching win. Josh Blake had three hits and had three runs batted in.
