Casey Thousand and the Northern Michigan women's basketball team have announced their schedule for the 2025-26 season. The slate will feature 13 home games in Vandament Arena, competitions in six different states, and an exhibition at a Division I opponent.

A unique trip will kick off the regular season as the Green and Gold travel to Erie, Pennsylvania, for three games from November 7 to 9.

The following weekend, the Wildcats will head to Wisconsin Dells for the third straight season, where they hold a 3-0 record in the Justagame Fieldhouse. NMU will match up with Upper Iowa on November 14 and then take on Lewis on November 15.

Northern will play its home opener on November 20 when they welcome the Huskies of St. Cloud State. On the 21st, NMU will contend with Minnesota Duluth.

To end the season's opening month, the 'Cats will head to Crookston, Minnesota, for two games on November 29th and 30th.

Conference play begins on the road on December 4 when the Wildcats visit Parkside. NMU will then stop at Roosevelt on December 6 before returning home to take on Northwood in a non-conference tilt on December 17.

Once the calendar flips to 2026, the remaining 18 games will all be conference games. NMU will be at home on New Year's Day to take on Davenport. That will be followed by a clash against Grand Valley State on January 3.

Northern will follow that up with a trip to Houghton to take on Michigan Tech on January 8 before returning home to play Ferris State on Monday, January 12. NMU will be back on the road later that weekend with stops at Lake Superior State on January 15 and Saginaw Valley State on January 17.

The Wildcats will alternate being home and away the next four weeks. First, Northern will host Purdue Northwest and Wayne State on January 22 and 24, respectively. The 'Cats will then finish out January in Grand Rapids, playing at Grand Valley State on the 29th and Davenport on the 31st.

Returning home, NMU will host Saginaw Valley State on February 5 and Lake Superior State on February 7. The Green and Gold will be back on the road the following weekend to play at Wayne State on February 12 and at Purdue Northwest on Valentine's Day.

Three of the final four regular season games will be at Vandament Arena. NMU will host rival Michigan Tech on February 19th and then head on the road for the final time to take on Ferris State on February 21.

To close out the regular season, Northern will welcome Roosevelt to Marquette on February 26 and then host Parkside in the finale on February 28.
