Marquette Major Girls Win District Championship
 The Marquette Major Little League All-Stars (age 10-12) won the District Eleven district championship on Tuesday, beating the West End All-Stars, 2-1, in Negaunee. Marquette went undefeated in the tournament, dodging raindrops along the way. Marquette advances to the state tournament in the far southwest Michigan town of Schoolcraft on July 10. |
