Gladstone Major Girls Win District Championship
 The Gladstone Major Little League All-Star softball team (age 10-12) won the District Ten championship Tuesday night, beating Escanaba, 5-4, in Iron Mountain. Gladstone ran the table in the district, including an earlier 1-0 win over Escanaba. Gladstone advances to the state tournament in the far southwest Lower Michigan of Schoolcraft on July 10. |
