Gladstone Major Boys Stay Alive; Eliminate Esky
 GLADSTONE---The Gladstone Major Boys (age 11-12) lived to fight another day on Sunday, beating the Escanaba All-Stars, 12-0, to advance to Monday's knock-out round. The game was called by the mercy rule as Gladstone scored nine runs early and cruised to the win. In Sunday's other game, Munising beat Schaffer, 14-0, in a mercy-rule game. While Escanaba was eliminated, Gladstone will face Schaffer in a loser's bracket game Monday afternoon at 5:00. That game will be broadcast live on WCHT-AM (600), and on-line at www.rrnsports.com.
