Eskymos Young & Old Have Fun In Alumni Games
 WELLS----It was Hockey Night at the Wells Sports Complex Saturday night as the Escanaba High School hockey program held its annual alumni games. About 40 guys laced up the skates and strapped on the pads to compete in the friendly games. The first game mostly featured guys who graduated between 1985 and 2000, while the second game had more-recent graduates from between 2001 and 2012 on the ice. 
'Old-timer' EHS assistant coach John Hendrickson was looking good out there!
His team had a 4-1 lead after that first 20 minutes, but the Orange Team scored seven goals in the second period to take an 8-5 lead after two periods. The Orange team added five more goals in the third period to win the game, 13-7. Jared Nordin allowed five goals in two periods of play and Austin Young gave up the othet two goals. Johnson was tagged for all 13 goals of the Black team, but stopped a lot of shots. In the second game, the line of Kyle Bernard, Mark Gauthier, and Ryan LaMarch dominated offensively. Gauthier scored four times, LaMarch had a hat trick, and Bernard scored twice as the Orange team won, 10-5.
