Escanaba Cruises Past Kingsford In District Opener
 ESCANABA---The Escanaba Eskymos rolled past the Kingsford Flivvers, 3-0, in the MHSAA District tournament opener Tuesday night in Escanaba. The scores were 25-20, 25-17, 25-22. Escanaba hosts Houghton in the district final Thursday night. Houghton eliminated Gladstone, 3-0, by scores of 25-9, 25-15, and 25-11. Thursday's match starts at 7:00.
