SECOND HALF STRUGGLES: Norse Fall On Road
![]() WAUWATOSA, Wis.---The Bay College men's basketball team was outscored 21-6 to start the second half and couldn't recover, losing to the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats, 97-80, Saturday afternoon in suburban Milwaukee. The Bobcats scored the first ten points of the second half to turn a three-point game into a 13-point margin, and they stayed undefeated on their home court. ![]() Tyler Willette, meanwhile, scored five baskets on the interior in the first half, and Bay trailed just 45-42 at the break. But the Bobcats came out of the locker room with more energy than the Norse, and the 10-0 run included triples by Manny Jingco and Joe Duty. They eventually took a 20-point lead before the Norse made a run, cutting the deficit to 74-64 with 10:08 left as Logan Hardwick came off the bench to bury two straight three-pointers and Ryan Arndt came off the bench to sink two triples of his own. Norse sophomore center Kobi Barnes, also from Milwaukee, put down a couple of baskets in the paint, but Bay gave up another ten-point run and lost the contest. ![]() The Norse outrebounded the Bobcats, 45-36. Bryant & Stratton (17-7) was led by Duty, sho scored 28 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Jingco added 22 points, and point guard Justin Brookens had 19 points and dished out 12 assists. The Bobcats made 15 three-point baskets. Bay College (15-8) travels to the University of Wisconsin-Marinette on Monday. The women's game is at 6:30 ET; the men at 8:15 ET.
