Carney Rolls Past Stephenson; Battle Vs NCA Next
 CARNEY---The Carney-Nadeau Wolves topped one rival rather easily Monday night, and now the boys have two practices to get ready to face another rival. Six players scored in double figures as the Wolves routed the Stephenson Eagles, 92-36, to improve to 3-0 on the season. Jordan Janofski scored 22 points and Jake Kleiman added 20 for the Wolves. Carney will host the two-time defending state champion North Central Jets Thursday night. That game will be broadcast live on WUPF-FM (Eagle 107.3). MONDAY's OTHER GAMES---Carson Wonders scored 35 points to lead the Iron Mountain Mountaineers to a 68-46 win over North Dickinson in Felch. The Nordics got 21 points from Garrett O'Neill in a losing effort....Terry Brower scored 21 points, but it wasn't enough for the Mid Peninsula Wolverines in a 52-47 loss to Munising.  |
