Gladstone Braves Tennis Team Falls To Menominee
 GLADSTONE---Ross Miron's win at #4 singles was the only bright spot on Wednesday as the Gladstone Braves lost to the Menominee Maroons, 7-1, in tennis action at Pfotenhauer Park. Miron beat Sam Larson, 7-6, 6-4, to prevent a Menominee sweep. "He continues to play really consistent tennis and keeps grinding away to stay in points," Gladstone Coach Dan Williams said. "He continues to improve with every match." At #1 singles, Gladstone's Spencer Pederson took Menominee's Nathan Antilla to three sets, but lost, 3-6, 6-3, 3-6. "He played a really good match today and came up a little short," Williams said. "But big improvements in his game. Was serving really well today and moving his opponent around the court nicely." Andy Olesak came in at #2 singles for the Braves. The 6-foot-4 senior has run track for the past three years, and is playing tennis for the first time. Olesak lost to Menominee's Caleb Hieman in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3. "Andrew is improving with every match," Williams said. "His forehand was really working well.
