After 31 years as the Head Coach of the Kingsford Flivvers, Coach Chris Hofer is hanging up his cleats. Hofer posted an overall record of 253-94 with State Championship appearances in 1990, 1992, 1993, and 1996 with a perfect 13-0 State Championship season in 1993. Hofer will be inducted into the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame, class of 2019.
For the second time in four years, the Upper Peninsula is home to Hockeyville USA after Calumet was named the winner of the national contest on Sunday.
