MARQUETTE---The Northern Michigan University Department of Athletics announced the addition of Andy Keller as its Nordic Skiing assistant coach. Keller will assist Head Coach Sten Fjeldheim in all aspects of the Nordic skiing program.
"We are excited to have Andy joining our staff," said Fjeldheim. "He has many years of experience as a head coach with the CXC program and had a successful collegiate career at Michigan Tech. He is very organized and thorough and has coached some top level athletes so I feel very fortunate to have any on staff."
Prior to becoming a part of the Wildcats program, Keller was a Team Head Coach for the Central Cross Country Skiing Association (CXC) where he trained athletes that advanced to the 2016 U23 World Championships and the 2017 World Championships Ski Team. Keller also trained a skier to the 2017 US National Title in the 15k skate during his stint as a team head coach.
