Big Fifth Inning Leads Jr. Indians Past Jr. Cubs 10-4

GLADSTONE---The Gladstone Junior Indians scored eight runs in the fifth inning and beat the Escanaba Junior Cubs, 10-4, Friday night in Gladstone.

The Indians trailed, 3-1, in the fifth inning before they sent 12 batters to the plate and turned the game around with the eight-run rally. Daniel Martin had a double and a triple during that inning, and Jared Crow added two extra-base hits in the victory.

Cody Frappier hit a home run and added a double for Escanaba.
