MARQUETTE — The offense topped the defense, 62-29, in the Northern Michigan football team's Spring Game, held Saturday afternoon at the Superior Dome.
The Wildcat offense scored a touchdown on its first drive of the game and added two more in the third quarter. Late in the third quarter, the Northern Michigan offense converted on a trick play. Aaron Harris took a lateral pass from Shaye Brown and then sent it right back to Brown, who found an open Julian Crum for a 65-yard touchdown.
The defense forced three three and outs over the course of the game and posted 10 tackles for a loss. William Brice led the Wildcat defense with two tackles for a loss while Kainon Clark picked up a sack. The crowd included 750 spectators.
