Norway Junior Boys Fall In State Title Game, 10-0

ROCHESTER HILLS--The Norway Junior Boys (age 13-14) finished second in the State of Michigan after losing to Midland, 10-0, in the state championship game on Sunday at Rochester Hills. It was Norway's first loss of the All-Star season.

Earlier in the day, Norway put on a huge rally in the state semifinal game against Onsted. The District 16 champs had a 6-4 lead entering the final inning before Norway rallied with seven runs to win the game, 11-6, and advance to the final.

Norway went undefeated through pool play, beating Taylor, 2-1 on Thursday, Rochester Hills, 6-0 on Friday, and White Lake 10-0 on Saturday.
