HARRIS----If you watched the first half of Thursday night's girls volleyball match-up between the Bark River-Harris Broncos and Rapid River Rockets, you'd swear it was going to be a one-sided competition all night long.
Rapid River had trouble on the serve....and at the net....and lost the first two games by identical 25-15 scores. BR-H senior Sarah Madalinski dominated pn her serve in those first two games, getting points on ten straight serves in the first game, and eight straight points in the second game. Bark River was an easy winner, right?
Nope. The Rapid River girls picked it up from there and made a game of it.
The Rockets won the third game, 25-23, and then, in the fourth game, Rapid River won, 25-19, to force a fifth and deciding game. And BR-H won that fifth game, 15-7.
