The post-season gets underway for some of the Upper Peninsula's high school girls softball teams on Tuesday.
Division Three games will be held in Gladstone, while Division Four games take place in Norway. Both are hosting softball districts for the first time.

There will be a tripleheader at Marion Park in Norway. Rapid River faces Munising at 1:00 (CT), followed by Superior Central against Stephenson at 3CT, the host Knights against Ironwood and at 5 CT. Newberry earned the bye in the seven-team district.
The semifinals and finals will be played on Friday at Marion Park.
In Gladstone, Houghton takes on Gwinn at 4:00 on Tuesday, followed by Negaunee against Pickford at 6:00. Gladstone and Manistique both drew byes for the six-team district tournament.
The semifinals and finals will be played Friday at Gladstone High School.
Gladstone's games will be broadcast live on WCHT-AM (600) and rrnsports.com. The semifinal game will be at 3:00 on Friday, with the district final to follow at 5:00.
There is also a district tournament opening Tuesday in the far eastern U.P.
The games at the Pellston Division Four district feature Rudyard against St. Ignace at 3:00, and Brimley against Maplewood Baptist at 5:00. Pellston and Mackinaw City drew byes in this district. The semifinals and finals will be played on Friday.
The Division One and Division Two girls softball districts will be held on Saturday.

Marquette is in the D-1 tournament in Traverse City, while Escanaba is in the D-2 district in Sault Ste. Marie.
The boys baseball district tournaments begin later this week, with Norway hosting a four-team Division Four district on Friday and Gladstone hosting a three-team Division Three district, also on Friday.
