SMART 'CATS: 11 NMU Hockey Players Awarded

MARQUETTE, Mich. - The American Hockey Coaches Association announced its ninth annual Krampade All-American Scholars list on Monday, and 11 Northern Michigan University Wildcat hockey players earned spots on the list.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA. The names of 709 Division I men (360) and women (349) were released.
The Wildcats include Jakub Altrichter (freshman forward), Nicolas Ardanaz (junior defenseman), Colby Browne (freshman forward), Anthony Cliche (freshman defenseman), Grayden Daul (freshman defenseman) Will Diamond (freshman forward), Ryan Duguay (freshman forward), Aidyn Hutchinson (freshman forward), Rasmus Larsson (freshman defenseman), Trevor Mitchell (freshman defenseman), and William Renfrew (freshman forward).
