Northern Golf Program To Hold Tryouts Next Week

MARQUETTE---The Northern Michigan University golf coach Eric Johnson will be holding an open tryout for the 2023-24 NMU women's and men's golf teams on Wednesday, September 13th.

In order to participate, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the fall semester at NMU and be in good academic standing. In addition and before you are permitted to physically participate in a tryout, Northern Michigan MUST be provided with the following information:

1. Documentation of a physical exam that was conducted by an MD/DO/PA/NP. This exam must
have occurred within 6 months prior to the start of your competitive season this past year.

2. Completed/signed "Pre-participation Evaluation" Form

3. Proof of Sickle-Cell testing
