Negaunee Loses High-Scoring Affair to Taylor North
![]() This story, photos, and videos by RRN Intern Braden Kerr GROSSE POINTE WOODS, Mich.--- The Negaunee Major Little League softball team lost 20-11 against Taylor North at University Liggett on Sunday afternoon. Adelyn Chapman started the game for Negaunee and would battle through the entire game. Taylor North got off to a hot start when they scored eleven runs through the first two innings. Down 11-2 going to the bottom of the second, Negaunee scored five runs of their own to keep the game within reach. The teams would trade runs over the next three innings before Taylor scored four runs in the sixth to extend their lead to 20-10. Negaunee could not muster another big inning and fell for the second time in two days. Pool play finishes Monday when Negaunee takes on Saint Clair at 10:15 AM at University Liggett. ![]() |
