ESCANABA---The Escanaba Eskymos and Gladstone Braves played to a 4-4 tie in girls tennis action Monday afternoon in Escanaba.
The Eskymos won all four singles matches while the Braves took all four doubles flights.
It was Gladstone's season-opener while the Eskymos had a dual meet against Marquette last Thursday and competed in the Kingsford Invitational on Saturday.
Escanaba returns to Kingsford for a dual match Tuesday morning at 11:00 ET. Gladstone has its home-opener against Menominee Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 ET.
