Braves Prepare For U.P. Finals With Chilly Victory

GLADSTONE---The Gladstone High School girls tennis team battled cold, windy conditions to beat the Menominee Maroons, 5-2, Monday at Pfotenhauer Park.

It was the team's final regular season match before Wednesday's U.P. Finals in Kingsford. Gladstone swept all three singles matches (there was no #4 singles match), and the teams split the four doubles matches.

Escanaba's home match against Iron Mountain was cancelled due to weather.
