Braves Get First Tennis Win; Eskymos Tie Flivvers

MENOMINEE---The Gladstone High School tennis team picked up its first win of the season on Tuesday, beating Menominee, 5-3, in Menominee.

The Braves won all four of the singles flights to improve to 1-2 on the season.

"It feels good," Gladstone Coah Halley Reichel said of her first coacing victory.

Meanwhile, in Escanaba, the Eskymos improved to 3-0-1 on the season with a 4-4 tie against the Kingsford Flivvers. Escanaba hosts West Iron County Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Gladstone will host Negaunee on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at Pfotenhauer Park.
