Gladstone Wrestlers Lose Regional To Roscommon
GRAYLING---The Gladstone Braves have had to give away points all season long. Low numbers have forced the Braves to forfeit multiple matches, especially at the lower weight classes. That was a factor Wednesday night as the Braves lost to the Roscommon Bucks, 39-36, in a Division Three Regional Semifinal at Grayling High School. In the other semifinal, Mason County Central beat Boyne City, 69-6. And in the final, Mason County Central won a regional championship, 48-33, over Roscommon. Eight Gladstone wrestlers aren't done with their season just yet, as they will return to Grayling for a third time in ten days on Saturday for the MHSAA Division Three individual regionals. Kadish, Cronick, James Bruce, Bobby Beauchamp, Zach Bailey, Austin Demeuse, Diego Mileski, and Alex Chouinard will all compete on Saturday. They will all be wrestling for a spot in the state finals at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Pictured at top: Cole Tardiff pins his man.
