Escanaba Native Hebert Wins Michigan Open
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.---Escanaba native Scott Hebert dominated the field to win the Michigan PGA Professional Championship by six strokes in the Detroit suburb of Rochester Hills. Hebert...who now golfs out of the Grand Traverse Resort...fired an 11-under "61" in the first round, and had a 7-under "65" on Tuesday in the second round.

He shot an even par "72" on Wednesday, which was more than good enough to collect the trophy with a "198". Matt Pesta was second, with a three-round 204. Kyle Martin was third with a 205, and two golfers (George Bowman and Brian Cairns) finished with a 208.
