The Kingsford Minor Little League All-Stars (age 8-10) will be making a long trip to Lower Michigan later this month.
The boys won the District Ten championship, 10-4, over Norway. Counting the "Yooper Tournament", the Kingsford boys have won all seven of their all-star games. In the championship game, Norway jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, but Kingsford scored at least one run in every inning to pull away. Kingsford opens state tournament play on Saturday, Juiy 26, way down in Tecumseh.
