NORWAY---The U.P. high school softball All-Star games were held at Norway's Marion Park on Wednesday, the final games for 34 girls in their schools' uniforms.
The North won the opener, 13-9, and the South won the nightcap, 15-7.
Six members of the state champion Escanaba Eskymos highlighted the South line-up: Savannah Baron, Claire McInerney, Payton Gustafson, Taylor Gauthier, Maddy Griffin, and Cassie Wisler. Griffin hit the only home run of the doubleheader, a solo shot in the final inning of the second game.
