Norway's Kraemer Signs To Play Hoops For Norse

NORWAY---Jordan Kraemer, a senior from Norway High School has signed a NJCAA Letter of Intent to play for the inaugural women’s basketball team at Bay College.

Kraemer, the daughter of Jamie and Bret Kraemer, signed her Letter of Intent at a ceremony Friday afternoon at Norway High School.

Kraemer is one of the most decorated players in Norway history, earning All-UP Player of the Year in 2017, two time All-UP Dream team (2015 & 2016), three time Mid-Pen Conference Player of the Year (2015, 2016, 2017), All State second team, and Detroit Free Press First team All-State.

Kraemer has also had success in other sports, garnering accolades in volleyball - First team Mid-Pen conference and All Region, softball – All District team, and a UP Finalist in track & field.

Kraemer excels in the classroom, as well.  She carries a 3.8 GPA, is a four year member of the Honor Roll, and has been a member of the All State Academic team in 2016 & 2017.

Coach Drake said, “We are absolutely thrilled to get the Player of the Year in the UP. I have been around a long time & I cannot think of another kid that has more of a competitive spirit than Jordan.  Her work ethic and love for the game will enable Jordan to reach her dreams.”

Kraemer joins earlier signees Jordan Belleville, Marissa Maino, Tiedra Fuson, and Justice Kinnunen in the incoming freshman class.
