Escanaba's Ross, Bruntjens To Play College Softball

ESCANABA---Two Escanaba High School softball players have committed to play college softball after they graduate next spring.

Tuesday was National Signing Day for college softball, and at an event in Escanaba this afternoon, pitcher Katie Ross officially signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Ferris State University. At the same time, outfielder Emily Bruntjens signed on the dotted line to play for Olivet Nazarene University.

The two helped  the Eskymos make it to the Division Two state semifinals last summer, and will return to lead the Eskymos again next spring.
