ESSEXVILLE, Mich.---The Escanaba Minor Little League All-Stars (age 9-10) won for the second straight day on Sunday at the state tournament in downstate Essexville.
After beating Milan (District Three), 14-0, on Saturday, in a mercy-shortened game, the Escanaba girls also mercied Vicksburg (District 15), 11-1, in four innings, on Sunday.
Madison Fulcher had two hits and drove in three runs. Chole Allen had two runs batted in. Aubrey Stropich had a double and two runs batted in. Delaney McIntyre scored twice. Mckayla Mott (pictured above) scored a run and pitched, with four strike outs.
The Escanaba girls play again on Monday against the host team from Essexville at 12:30.
