T.J. Myrick and Charlie Zuidema also scored for the Eskymos in Saturday's game.

After a scoreless first period, Wunder got the Eskymos going with an unassisted goal at the 6:15 mark of the second period.
But the Knights got even four minutes later as William Yates scored from behind the Eskymo net. His shot hit the body of Eskymo defenseman Quintin McCarthy and bounced past goaltender Nick LeMire.
Then, with 1:11 left in the period, Vincent Scarfone skated past two Eskymo defensemen and pushed one past LeMire, putting Liggett in the lead, 2-1.
Escanaba came out on fire early in the third period, dominating play with several scoring chances. The Eskymos tied it at 4;52 when Derek Chaillier hit one off the post and T.J. Myrick swooped in for the rebound, getting his second goal of the weekend.
Three minutes later, Wunder went in on a breakaway, but was stopped by the leg of Liggett goaltender Alex Grimm. The play continued, however, and Wunder got the puck again, this time, along the wall.
He fired a pass to a wide-open Zuidema, who scored into the open net, putting the Eskymos into a 3-2 lead with 8:47 left in the third period. Liggett, however, regained control of the game from there. It appeared that the Knights may have scored with six minutes left in the game, but the officials ruled that there was no goal.

But just over a minute later, the Knights tied the game on Yates' second goal of the evening.
The eight-minute overtime session solved nothing, so we had a tie on the scoreboard.
Wunder had a goal and an assist for Escanaba (10-4-2), while Chaillier ended up with two assists.
University Liggett (11-1-1) got two goals from Yates, and a pair of assists each from Jacob Smith and Lordanthony Grissom. Grimm stopped 26 of 29 shots for Liggett.
LeMire had 34 saves for Escanaba, and was picked the game's #3 star. Wunder was chosen the game's #1 star.
Escanaba returns to the ice Tuesday night with a home game against Kingsford.
