IRON MOUNTAIN----The Kingsford High School hockey team battled hard Saturday night, but lost to the DePere (Wis.) Voyaguers, 5-3, at the Mountain View Ice Arena.
Reid Pietila scored two goals and Ted Pietila scored once for the Flivvers, who were missing two players who were ejected during a recent loss to Calumet.
Kingsford fell to 2-4 on the season while DePere improved to 8-2-1.
The Flivvers travel to a tournament in Saginaw after the Christmas holiday.
