Marquette Edges Esky To Repeat As U.P. Champs
 BARK RIVER---The Marquette Sentinels edged the Escanaba Eskymos to win the MHSAA Division One boys UP championship on Wednesday at the Sage Run Golf Course. The Sentinels won by eleven strokes (311-322), to repeat as UP Champions. Junior Boden Moore shot a two-under 70 to win medalist honors. Westwood senior Tanner Annala was runner-up, finishing three strokes back with a 73, and Iron Mountain’s Cooper Pigeon was third with a 77. The Eskymos’ top golfer was sophomore Carson Artley, who was seventh after shooting a 79. (MHSAA photo) |
