Gladstone Basketball Coach Griebel Stepping Down
 GLADSTONE---Gladstone High School basketball coach Phil Griebel has resigned. Griebel was the head coach the last three seasons, after spending four years as the Braves' junior varsity coach. Griebel led Gladstone to the Class B District Championship last month. The Braves were 10-12 overall this season. Griebel says that he's stepping down because of the amount of time it takes in his job as a lieutenant at the Delta County Sheriffs Department. He adds that he will miss coaching, and will most of all miss spending time around the kids. |
