M&M GAME RENEWED! It's Menominee Over Marinette, Again

The latest match-up between the Menominee Maroons and Marinette Marines boys basketball teams Saturday night went the same way most recent M&M games have gone: into the Menominee win column. The Maroons won their tenth straight game, beating the Marines for the second time this season, 92-67. Tanner Theurkauf led the Maroons with 23 points, all but one of them in the second half. Kaden Ducane had 20 points ane eight rebounds for the Marines. Menominee improved to 10-1 on the season while Marinette fell to 4-11.

Marinette Marines Fall To Freedom Irish, 80-44

The Marinette High School boys basketball team came up short Thursday night against the Freedom Irish, falling, 80-44, in Marinette. Connor Eastman led the Marines again with 13 points. Donovan Davis had a double-double of 14 points and ten rebounds for Freedom. Marinette fell to 4-10 on the season.

NMU Ladies Roll Past Lake State; Still Perfect On Road

The No. 13 Northern Michigan women's basketball team outscored the Lake Superior State Lakers in every quarter en route to an 80-61 road victory on Thursday night at Bud Cooper Gymnasium.
