Escanaba Hockey Team Opens Season With Win Over Kingsford

The Escanaba High School hockey team opened the season with an easy 7-0 win over the Kingsford Flivvers Tuesday night at the Wells Sports Compex. The Eskymos outshot the Flivvers, 40-19, and all three lines scored goals in the victory. Senior goaltender Cully Hayes stopped all 19 shots he faced to earn the shutout.
