Gladstone High School senior Lillie Johnson made Braves basketball history Tuesday night, passing Reece Castor for the all-time scoring record for the school, both boys and girls. Johnson, passed Castor's 1802 career points, and then some, as the Braves beat the Westwood Patriots, 51-30. Johnson scored 27 points in the victory. Escanaba Girls Basketball Bus Flips Off Icy Highway; Four Girls Hurt

A scary moment late Tuesday night for the Escanaba High School girls basketball team, as the team returned home after its game against the Marquette Sentinels in Marquette. The team's bus slid on extremely icy roads and flipped onto its side along Highway M-553 near the Marquette County Fairgrounds at 9:25 Tuesday night, according to the Marquette County Sheriff's Department.
