DOUBLE HATTY: Miles Goes Off; Miners Rally 8-5
 WAUPACA, Wis.---Aydan Miles scored a double hat trick, six goals, to help the Negaunee Miners hockey team win the opening game of a tournament in Wisconsin on Wednesday, 8-5, over the host Waupaca Comets. Miles added an assist for seven total points as the Miners rallied from a 5-2 third period deficit to pick up the road win. Owen Debelak and Dane Saari also scored for the Miners, with Saari adding two assists. Negaunee improved its record to 3-6-0 on the season, and will play two more games at this holiday tournament: Thursday against Merrill, Wis., at 5 p.m., and Friday against Whitefish Bay, Wis., at 3 p.m. The team's next home game is Jan. 4 against Manistique. |
