Gladstone Indians Lose Two At Antigo Tournament
![]() ANTIGO, Wis.---The Gladstone Indians American Legion baseball team ran into two tough teams in Wisconsin on Saturday, falling to the Ashwaubenon A's and Fond duLac Lakers by identical 11-1 scores. The Indians were shorthanded, heading across the border with just nine players. Against Fond DuLac, Tyler Darmogray, Nick Martin, and Aedan Creten got the only Indians hits. Travis Mack took the loss on the mound, giving up 11 runs on nine hits. Landon Behringer and Easton Roedl both hit home runs for Fondy (10-5-1). Against Ashwaubenon, Mack and Braden Sundquist got the only hits for the Indians. Darmogray threw all five innings, giving up 11 runs (7 earned) on 12 base hits. Cole Justman threw all five innings for the A's. Cameron Jackson drove in three runs. Matt Schuch added three hits for the A's, who improved to 8-6 on the season. Gladstone fell to 7-10-1 on the season, The Indians will finish play at the seventh annual Antigo Mid-Summer Tournament on Sunday at 12:30 ET/11:30 CT against Prairie de Chien. |
