The Upper Peninsula Sportwriters and Sportscasters Association announced its 2021-22 high school girls basketball All-U.P. teams Thursday night. The group of media members from across the Upper Peninsula met in Marquette earlier this week to make their selections.

Reide Osterman from Baraga High School was named the top player in the Upper Peninsula, as Ms. U.P. Basketball. She led the Vikings to the Division Four state semifinal game before a tough loss to Fowler.

St. Ignace's Ally Schulyz was named the Division 1-3 Player of the Year, and Saints Coach Dorene Ingalls was named D1-3 Coach of the Year again.

Baraga Coach Tyler Larson was the D-4 Coach of the Year, and the Vikings were named the D-4 Team of te Year. The D1-2 Team of the Year was the Negaunee Miners, and the Calumet Copper Kings were named the D-3 Team of the Year.

The rest of the Dream Team, besides Osterman and Schultz, included Tessa Wagner of Carney-Nadeau, Alyssa Hill of Negaunee, and Natalie Prophet of Westwood.
