Wonders Mr. U.P. Basketball; Winners Announced

The Upper Peninsula Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association on Friday released the 2021 boys basketball All-U.P. teams. Iron Mountain's Foster Wonders was named Mr. U.P. Basketball. He was also runner-up for the Michigan Mr. Basketball award.
The Escanaba Eskymos were the large school Team of the Year. with senior Erik Victorson making the Dream Team and Carter Hudson making the First Team. Iron Mountain Coach Bucky Johnson was named the D1-3 Coach of the Year, and his Mountaineers were the Division Three Team of the Year. In Division Four, Jaden Borseth of Ewen-Trout Creek was the Player of the Year, and Rudyard's Jim Suggitt was the Coach of the Year. The Bulldogs were the D-4 Team of the Year. The award winners:
