NCA Passes Road Test With Win Over Lake Linden
 LAKE LINDEN---The North Central High School football team returned from an unscheduled off week on Saturday with a 34-22 win over a tough Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes team in the Copper Country. The Jets stayed undefeated with a 4-0 record heading into a rivalry game next week against Stephenson. NCA quarterback Luke Gorzinski had a monster game. He rushed 37 times for 198 yards and four touchdowns. He also completed 6-of-11 passes for 114 yards. Gorzinski's cousin, Ian Gorzinski, caught four passes for 96 yards. Gavin Casperson and Luke Kleiman also caught passes. On defense, Luke Gorzinski and Owen Chartier each had eight tackles. For Lake Linden, Nate Shank led the way with 197 yards rushing on 35 attempts. He had touchdown runs of 55 and 31 yards. The Lakes fell behind 20-0 before cutting the deficit to 20-16 in the second quarter. But Gorzinksi answered with another touchdown right before halftime to make it a 28-16 NCA lead at the break.
