NMU Wildcats Drop Season Opener In Ohio, 45-10
 FINDLAY, Ohio---The Northern Michigan University football team lost its seaon opener Thursday night in Ohio. The Wildcats lost to the Findlay Oilers, 45-10. Northern's only touchdown was a nine-yard scamper by Prince Young early in the second quarter, which brought the 'Cats to within 10-7. But the Oilers scored the next 28 points before Rockne Belmonte kicked a 26-yard field goal late in the third quarter.
